Em Stroud is the Comic Coach. Comic. Speaker and Writer, she is also the founder of The Leadership Impact School. Em is on a mission for us all to Laugh, Think and Play more. When you turn 80 what do you want to look back on? For me, I know I do not want to look back on my life as a "should have... Oh I will do this when..." nor do I think my 80 year old self will care how many emails I have sent. I want to look back and live my life fully. Full of joy, wonder, play and laughs alongside the challenges that life has and will continue to throw at me. Plus I want to feel true success by allowing me to be all of me. This is what I do. I want to help all of us remember the important things while also being successful. I live and breathe this - this is my life (ask me about my tattoos). I work with businesses and people who are brave and curious... who want to bring the humanity, play into their world of work. I do talks, I run workshops, I coach a few people each year, I run one retreat each year. I work with two leadership teams a year - for a year. I realised that over my 20 years experience I have learnt a lot and taught a lot of people. So everyone can change I created The Leadership Impact School - full of wonder and play and results. I am also about to go on a tour of the UK with The Em Show - Tales From a Little Laughing Lesbian. It will end at Melbourne comedy festival in 2026. I am writing my second book. My first Lessons from a Clown is out and will help you right now to feel happier. I have a podcast. Oh and I have done two tedx talks one as a banana.
